North Cove Trail, Kitimat BC
An early October hike to one of the best places near Kitimat to see the ocean.
North Cove is a trail people around Kitimat talk about, and I'd never actually hiked it. In early October I set out to film it.
My first try ended at the trailhead, where a grizzly and her cubs were sitting on the trail. So I went home and waited for another day.
It was worth the wait. The trail starts at a viewpoint, then winds down through the forest to the ocean, and it didn't disappoint.
