Ferry Island

A bright October 31st on Ferry Island, and the faces hiding in its trees.

I filmed Ferry Island on October 31, on one of those clear, golden fall days that are too good to waste. The island sits in the Skeena River in Terrace, and its forest trails hide faces carved into the trees.

The script follows my first visit: walking in without knowing the faces were there, not sure where to look, and then spotting them one by one. It's the feeling of discovery I want every visitor to have.
